Hearing Aids Not Sounding Right?
These are common signs a hearing aid needs attention:
- Sound is weak, muffled or cuts in and out
- Whistling or feedback when it is in your ear
- The battery or charge does not last the day
- It no longer feels comfortable
- Voices are clear in quiet rooms but hard to follow in noise
Many of these are fixed with a cleaning, a new dome or wax guard, or a programming adjustment, often in one visit. We service hearing aids bought elsewhere, too. If a hearing aid needs to go back to the manufacturer, we explain the options first. See hearing aid repair.
