Ringing in Your Ears?
Tinnitus is the ringing, buzzing, hissing or humming that only you can hear. It can make it hard to fall asleep, concentrate or enjoy a quiet room.
It is often connected to hearing loss, which is why we start with a hearing check. Robert Cousins, a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist (License #HA8055) with more than 10 years of experience, serves West Covina from our office in nearby Diamond Bar. Call (626) 373-0308 to book.
How We Help With Tinnitus
- A hearing test to see whether hearing loss is part of the picture.
- Hearing aids with tinnitus features: many models can play soft background sounds that make the ringing less noticeable.
- Everyday tips for quiet rooms and bedtime, when tinnitus often seems loudest.
- Hearing protection so loud noise doesn't make it worse. See custom hearing protection.
If your tinnitus is only in one ear, started suddenly, or comes with dizziness, see your doctor too. Learn more about tinnitus relief.
