Hearing Aid Help for Brea, CA
Second opinions · Fine-tuning · Hearing aids bought elsewhere welcome
When Your Hearing Aids Fall Short
A lot of hearing aids end up in a drawer. They whistle, sound tinny or just do not help in the places that matter. Usually the problem is the fit or the settings, not you.
Brea residents are welcome to bring in hearing aids from anywhere, including warehouse clubs and online sellers. Robert Cousins (License #HA8055) will take an honest look and tell you what can be done. Call (626) 373-0308.
What a Second-Opinion Visit Covers
- Diagnostic check: we find out whether the issue is the device, the settings or a change in your hearing.
- Clean and check: wax and moisture are common culprits, and a thorough cleaning often brings the sound back.
- Fresh parts: domes, wax guards and other small parts replaced in the office.
- Reprogramming: settings adjusted to match your current hearing test, even on hearing aids bought elsewhere.

Fine-Tuning That Fits Real Life
Hearing aids are often set up once and never revisited. We check how they perform in your ear with Real Ear Measurement, then adjust them for the places you actually spend time.
If your hearing has changed since your last fitting, a new hearing test comes first, so the new settings are based on today's results.
If It Needs a Repair
Some problems need a factory fix. When that happens, we send the hearing aid out for repair and keep you updated. Loaner hearing aids are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
And if your hearing aids are simply worn out, we can show you what has improved since you bought them, with a free 7-day trial on anything new.
