Hearing aid benefits can be confusing. Before your appointment, we call your insurance to check exactly what your plan covers, so there are no surprises when you come in.

How Hearing Aid Benefits Work
Most health insurance companies don't handle hearing aids themselves. They hand that part of your plan to a hearing benefits company, such as Amplifon, TruHearing or NationsHearing. That company sets your copay and which hearing aids are covered.
We work directly with these companies, so you can use your benefit with us. Not sure which company manages your plan? Call (626) 373-0308 with your insurance card and we'll find out.

Other Plans and Programs
Kaiser Permanente Members
We're out-of-network with Kaiser Permanente. If your Kaiser plan doesn't include a hearing aid benefit, we'll match Kaiser's price. Just bring your official Kaiser quote to your appointment.
Medi-Cal
We're working on becoming an approved Medi-Cal provider. For now, we're out-of-network.
Once we're approved, Medi-Cal will require these steps before it covers hearing aids:
- A full exam by an ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctor or your own physician.
- A hearing evaluation done by that doctor, with a prescription and medical clearance. Or a referral to an audiologist, plus the prescription and clearance.
- Bring all of those papers to our office.
Plans We Don't Accept
We don't currently accept UnitedHealthcare or AARP plans. You can still come to us as a private-pay patient. Financing is available from $75 per month, and new hearing aids include a free 7-day trial.
What to Bring
- Your insurance card(s)
- A photo ID
- Your Kaiser quote, if you'd like a price match
- Any hearing aids you already own
